When you register an account to the forums, you are agreeing that you will abide by all our forum rules and terms of service. If you do not follow these rules you will have action taken against you. If you are unsure of the rules, simply read below as this will help you from not getting banned or muted in the future. If you find you have anything against these rules, simply leave RPSIF.smfforefree4.com or RuneScape Private Servers Information Forum. As they are, the forum rules are subjected to be changed, although there may be slight updates to them in near foreseeable future when we see it. Here are the forum rules below:
Rule #1: Multiple Posting
- Multiple posting, this means post two, three, or more posts one after another, if you must, edit your post using the edit button. You will have a simple warning. (+1/5 of warning)
Rule #2: Post Harmful Content
- Do not post any links containing adult content, death, or harmful files. Direct "mute" as a consequence.
Rule #3: Flaming Others
- Do not flame others via the forums, everyone here deserves respect and this is not tolerated. You will receive a private message from any staff member like a Moderator or an Administrator.
Rule #4: Post In Somebody Else's Ban Appeal
- You are not allowed to post in somebody else's ban appeal, if you are caught doing so you will be given a forum warning. (+1/5 warning)
Rule #5: Spamming On The Forums
- Any pointless material that is posted on the forums will not be tolerated, It will result in you losing your posting rights for an X amount of time. We will see how terrible it is.
Rule #6: Harassing & Sexually Harassing
- RPSIF.smfforfree4.com does not tolerate this in anyway, both men and women are equal and we want to keep it that way.
Rule #7: Impersonation Of Others
- There shall be no impersonation of Jagex staff, RPSIF staff, RuneScape members, forum members, our OWN server staff or anybody else here. Direct IP Ban will be the consequence if the punishment is very severe.
Rule #8: Uploading Any Kind Of Spyware/Trojans/Viruses
- Fail to comply with this and authorities will be contacted. You will be banned in all manners and we will contact the police. Seriously.
Rule #9: Plagiarism
- Anybody caught stealing somebody else's work will be punished for this hard sinful crime. Their punishment will be that their thread will be deleted and their posting rights removed for 48 hours.
Rule #10: Advertisements / Websites / Forums
- Websites and/or forums with appropriate content on this forum are allowed in signatures only, just as long as they are not advertising ONLY in on this forum called ---> RPSIF <---, your source of a RuneScape server. Any websites that may contain harmful content is banned.
Rule #11: Profane Titles And Thread Content
- All people that post threads with profanity in the title or within the thread as content itself will be punished. They will be warned for this. If seen again doing the same thing multiple times, you will be banned.
Rule #12: Password Sharing Or Black Mailing
- They will be none of these happening here on RPSIF or you will be banned for a month. No questions asked. Thank you!
* The staff moderators of RPSIF have the right to suspend you from posting if you break any of these rules.
* If a staff moderator breaks one of these types of rules, they will be de-modded / demoted maybe + mute (When Forum Moderator) and the same thing for Global/Super Moderators as well, but they will be either be demoted to Moderators or be demoted completely for their actions (When Global/Super Moderator).
